在大气气溶胶理化特性与来源解析、大气颗粒物源成分谱构建、民用燃料燃烧排放粒子老化机制、源排放因子实测与排放清单构建、大气灰霾形成机制、清单在空气质量模拟中应用等领域开展了系列研究。共主持国家重点研发计划课题、省科技厅技术创新专项重大项目、国家自然科学基金重点(合作单位负责人)/青年、教育部博士点基金、地方政府大气颗粒物源解析及源清单构建、中国地质大学经费等项目24项,累计科研经费过千万。截止目前在NG、ACP、GRL、JGR、EI、AE、EP、中国科学地球科学、中国环境科学等期刊发表学术论文112篇,其中SCI论文75篇(H指数为25),第一作者/通讯作者SCI论文36篇,参与编写专著2部,授权专利5项。获得第二届全国大气科学类专业青年教师教学交流与竞赛参赛优胜奖、2017年谢义炳青年气象科技奖、2017年第五届中国气溶胶青年科学家奖、2018年中国地质大学(武汉)腾飞计划人才项目支持、中国地质大学(武汉)2017-2018年度优秀共产党员、连续三年指导学生获得校级优秀硕士学位论文等荣誉,相关事迹被中国气象报2018年3月6日第四版科技人物报道;2020年入选中国地质大学(武汉)第十四届十大、入围全国向上向善好青年-爱岗敬业类。2年内团队6人次获得国家奖学金、5人次保送知名高校研究生、涌现出地大榜样2人;5名教师和25名研究生获得军运会空气质量保障纪念证书,团队获得感谢信。联合组织的观测实验被新华社、中央人民政府官网等媒体广泛报道,发表的论文被科技部、湖北省人民政府官网等报道。
